"Cancer cell migration and invasion" - Prof. Jim Norman, Beatson Institute UK

Jim C. Norman carried out his Ph.D. and postdoc at the University of London. He then moved as a Lecturer to the University of Leicester, to establish a group working on integrin recycling. Since 2006, the Norman group moved to the Beatson Institute in Glasgow, where he currently is a senior group leader at the CRUK Scotland Institute. His group continues to investigate the the role played by the trafficking of adhesion receptors in cancer cell signalling and motility, and how the vesicular transport machinery contributes to cancer metastasis.
